The sensation is caused by a new beauty trend: "Tears of a Mermaid". They make the eyes look fresher and more radiant. technologyify
Wonderful mermaid eyes, with little water droplets making
the eyes shine, is the backdrop for this interesting makeup trend that suits
almost every woman, as long as the rest of the makeup and styling match.

Of course, on a face
without makeup, two dots on the eyes would look very strange. Make sure your
complexion is beautiful, be it primers and masking products, or a light tan.
The eyes should at least be accentuated with light makeup,
such as eye shadow and mascara.
Mermaid tears - what do they look
like?
If you haven't looked through beauty magazines or posted
about yourself on Instagram, you may not have noticed this trend. This is a
rather subtle but very effective way to accentuate the eyes.
Most of the time, light emphasis is simply placed in the
inner corner of the eye. But not with highlighters, but really with color, that
is, eyeshadow.
Matte or shimmery tones can be used depending on the mood
and occasion. As far as color choices go, actually anything is allowed.
From neon yellow to iridescent blue. Very subtle tones such
as pink, apricot or lilac have a very subtle effect and make the eyes more
discreet, alert and bright.
The selected color is then either actually applied, like a
point in the inner corner of the eye, or the point fades slightly.

What colors are right for me?
Here you can of course experiment at home. But if you don't
want to look as trendy as girls in the 1980s, you can see what's trending now.
So you can't go wrong with pink, blue, beige. The important
thing, yet, is that you must adapt the shade to your own complexion, so choose
a cool or warm shade.
If you have light, bluish translucent skin, cool colors will
do. If you are always lightly tanned or have olive skin, warm tones are better
for you.
Then the Mermaid's Tears are not quite noticeable, but they
create the perfect big picture.
Each shade has cold or warm tones. So cold, blue-tinged red
or warm orange-tinged. Everyone can really find their own color tone.
How do you compose "Mermaid
Tears" and what is needed for this?
Colored eyeshadow is the basic package. The best way to
experiment is to buy a pretty palette with a wide variety of colors. Then you
need an eyeshadow brush or small applicator. This makes it easy to set the
exact point.
In any case, the color should have a powdery or creamy
consistency, not eyeliner or eyeliner. Metallic tones that slightly shine look
very nice. So in the evening gold or silver is great. For summer parties, you
can also choose yellow or orange, which looks very nice on tanned skin.
The color can completely contrast with the color of the
eyes. But even repeating small colored dots in the eye is very effective. For
example, if you have small beige and yellow dots on the iris, yellow looks
great in the form of mermaid dots.
Hazel eyes are almost all shades of eyeshadow. Blue eyes
tolerate contrast well with beautiful browns, pinks or apricots. Green eyes
look especially impressive with purple, soft reds, blues or grays.

Small guide:
1: Apply primer all over the lid with your finger and
powder. For a casual look, it is best to choose discreet nude shades. In the
evening, the rest of the movable eyelid can also be colorfully or sharply
painted.
2: Now apply the shadow to the inner corner of the eye with
a small brush or applicator. Starting from the area of the tear duct, then
gradually disappears down and up towards the crease of the eyelid. You can also
gently set the point with one finger.
3: Correctly hide transitions. You can use a veneer brush
and start from the outside corners.
4: Now draw the eyeliner and apply mascara. Full!

Mermaid Tears Options
Once you discover how much mermaid tears accentuate the
eyes, you can paint over the inner corners of the eyes with a different color
than the outer edge. This is a good idea!
The light color inside optically opens the eyes and makes
them more alert and radiant. So it doesn't have to be a point, you choose a
lighter color for the inside of the upper and lower eyelids, such as metallic
copper.
